*** The only silver filled wire on this ring is the tube wire around the stone, everything thing else is sterling silver. Any part of the ring that will have skin contact is sterling silver, so if you have an allergy to other metals you can still wear this ring. I added some silver filled wire as it gives the piece a pop of color. The silver will eventually, (could be years), tarnish away and you will be left with brass underneath. ***
